This report by Arc4, published in September 2019, examines the historical distribution of public investment in housing between regions and the impact of Government policy decisions to allocate funding to areas of high affordability pressures on the share of funding allocated to the North. It shows that if current trends continue, it could reduce the North’s share of investment moving forward by nearly 50%.
